:: A great interview with SewDanish!
:: And of course a few other fun things too. 🙂

Good luck to everyone!

Giveaway winners!

Instead of spending 5$ to use random, I decided to go “old school” and do the drawing for the 3 free Craftleftovers zine by hand!
Just like in the good ol’ days. 😉

For this, I used a good looking hat I once used for my makeup portfolio. A fun fact here, I bought it around Halloween for only 5$. May I say, best costume buy ever?

Then, I headed over to Oli so he could do the drawing for me. A playstation control pad in one hand, doing the drawing with the other one. Such coordination!

And now, drum roll, please!

The winners:

Congratulations to Rebecca,Renee G. and Shelly!
You all won a copy of the March issue of Craftleftovers monthly zine!

Thanks to everyone who commented! I really love doing theses giveaways. It’s as much of a blast for the winners as it is for me. Look for some more in the future!

Giveaway: February Craft Leftovers monthly

As you already know, the new February Craftleftovers monthly is out and, with The Crafty Life comic, it now makes me a monthly contributor.

I love this month’s new zine because it’s all about:

  • Being crafty for the Pets & friends you ♥!
There’s tutorials for making kitty snacks, a dog toy and friendships bracelets (Remember thoses? 🙂 )
  • Tons of information on garden planning.
This comes right on time as I’ve been looking forward to start a new garden adventure, this year. Kristen shares so much useful information, from seed planting to vermicompost.

Gotta love this little guy! He reminds me of Earthworm Jim. Remember? 😉

***IGIVEAWAY IS NOW OVER. Thank you to everyone who participated. 🙂 ***

Kristen was nice enough, once again, to give me some extra zines so I could give them away to my blog readers. Gotta love free zines!

To get one, all you need to do is to comment below this post to win one of the 3 FREE February Craft Leftovers Montly zine. 🙂
Giveaway ends on Monday, February 7th.

** Make sure to leave me a way for me to join you (email, blog, etc.) **

The winners will be chosen by a random drawing. Good luck!

Giveaway: Craft Leftovers montlhy

Take a look at what I just got in the mail, yesterday: The new Craftleftovers Montlhy!

Kristin have been publishing this smart zine for about 2 years, already.
Not only is it about using, you guessed it, your “craft leftovers”, but there are also a lot of general art and craft inspiration. Stories, recipes, craft tutorials and much more!

For this issue, I’m happy to announce that I’m one of her first collaborator, along with Leo Babauta.
I heard that Kristin was looking for someone to make a tutorial for a Spa Gift set and, since I already had experience in cosmetic-making, I jumped on the occasion! I also made a special illustration that could go with the tutorial. 🙂
(Bottom left illustration, #17)

There’s even a Crochet Loofa Sponge tutorial next to mine. It goes so well together!

I love how everything turned out! The printing is great and the new design is so neat.
There’s even an interview with Claire Chambers from Absolutely Small which is a neat addition the zine. She makes awesome Chickenpants plushies which are adorable!

So I didn’t put “Giveaway” in my post title for nothing, right? 😉
Kristin has generously donated some issues to me and I decided to give 3 of them to my blog readers.

All you have to do is answer this question in the comments:

“What would you like to see more on”

Is it webcomics? Freebies? Tutorials? Drawings? It can even be something you haven’t seen here yet. 🙂

I will draw 3 winners randomly this Monday, December 7th. Good luck!

**UPDATE: 3 people answered my question so I’m sending the zines to you: Hanna, Melanie & Meansoybean. Congrats!**
